Our Story

Oak Lane was built on a simple truth: sustainable growth requires both strategy and empathy. Born from years of helping under-resourced businesses navigate systems not built for them, we became the firm we wished existed — one that meets leaders where they are and helps them imagine new pathways to success.

Today, we integrate strategy, operations, and communications into one disciplined approach, guided by our signature HOUR Strategy™ Framework, so that clarity always translates into action. We are a Boston-based, minority and LGBTQ+-owned advisory firm, and our deepest commitment is to the founders, organizations, and communities who deserve a clearer lane forward.

Founder + CEO

Reggie Williams is the founder and CEO of Oak Lane, a strategy firm that helps growth-stage organizations and executives build authentic stakeholder alignment during transformation and scaling.

He specializes in narrative strategy and human-centered design, using the proprietary HOUR Strategy framework—a methodology that helps leaders communicate vision, align teams, and navigate change in ways that actually stick. Over the past decade, Reggie has worked with organizations across corporate, nonprofit, and public sectors to translate complex strategy into clear, compelling narratives that drive adoption and measurable impact.

His work has trained 1,000+ associates at Fortune 500 companies, guided national program strategy for capital deployment to underserved communities, and helped dozens of founders and executives clarify their direction and move faster. He's produced thought leadership experiences that reach thousands, repositioned organizational brands to drive 23% increases in engagement, and reformed operational systems to cut implementation time in half.

Reggie holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from Tufts University and is pursuing his doctorate at NYU's Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. He served as a lecturer on entrepreneurship at Tufts and advises executive teams, boards, and founders on strategy and change.
